Change Manager

Job details
Change Managers coordinate activities and communication in order to ensure project objectives are met and sustained. They focus on the people aspect of change including changes to business processes, tools and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
Key duties and responsibilities
Plan, develop and execute change initiatives across the AFP in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop change management strategies, communications plans, and training for stakeholders
Assess change readiness and project feasibility; deliver risk treatment plans
Monitor adoption, benefits realisation and utilisation; identify and correct performance gaps
Roll out communications via Digital Adoption software solutions
Foster a collaborative team environment and drive knowledge sharing/capability uplift
Maintain robust records and documentation per AFP requirements
Personnel Requirements
Stay current on ICT practices and technical disciplines
Build strong stakeholder relationships and networks
Support improved ICT practices and standards
Mentor and coach junior team members
Deliver accurately and on time within a small team, supporting Command objectives

• Demonstrated experience in the development of change and communication management plans for projects and other change initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in defining, developing, and communicating the change management approach for a significant organisational change.
• Demonstrated experience in an organisational change management role working within either a PRINCE2 and/or Agile framework.
• Provide examples of experience and past performance in delivering Organisational Change Management in an IT environment.
• Formal qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution or demonstrated skills and experience in Organisational Change Management.
